 1984-1985 Sheehan Ice Hockey Team

 Season Recap

The Sheehan High School Ice Hockey team fell into a deep freeze this winter with only a few bright spots softening the ice.

The first line was composed of senior John Slocum, Paul McCarthy and Bill Lyons.  Slocum became a team leader while controlling the offense of the the Titans.  Second line members John Parker, Stu Schouten and Todd Houston greatly helped the scoring power this year.  The defense was guided by Steve Ujvari, Howie Camolli and Dennis Mills.  Goalie Mike Sgambati was a pleasure to watch as he continuously made impressive saves.

Coach Ray Crew's climax of the season was a hard-fought 3-1 loss to perennial powerhouse East Haven High School.
